Meet The Midwife

I have been married to the love of my life for 19 years, and together we have four beautiful children. My husband, Nate, and I have served our community throughout our entire marriage through church ministry.

I have worked in the birth world for over a decade. Between my third and fourth children, we experienced the heartbreaking loss of three babies. In the midst of that pain, God opened doors for me to begin attending and serving other women in labor. Walking alongside families through pregnancy and birth became a profound source of healing and purpose for me.

During my years working in the hospital setting, I witnessed repeated unnecessary interventions that often led to a cascade of negative outcomes. I frequently left births feeling heartbroken for my clients and burdened by how little control families had over their own experiences. It was through these moments that midwifery slowly became my calling.

I transitioned from doula to birth assistant, and within four years became a Certified Professional Midwife through the North American Registry of Midwives. Shortly thereafter, I was licensed by the Louisiana State Medical Board.

My mission is to support safe, respectful birth while creating a space for informed, shared decision-making—rooted in family, faith, and God’s intelligent design.
