Words from a client..... We are incredibly grateful for Cyndel's knowledge, expertise, love, and care as a midwife. When we got pregnant at the end of 2024, I knew I wanted to have a homebirth. I had begun reaching out to local midwives and was quickly introduced to Cyndel. We had one phone call and then set up our initial appointment, we had so many questions, many about the cost; however, knowing what I know now, you cannot put a price on midwifery care, especially not from Cyndel. My husband and I felt so much peace after our first meeting. From day one, Cyndel was there for us patiently answering every question we had, whether it was day or night. She guided us with a level of care, compassion, and reassurance that exceeded anything we could have hoped for. As a military family, we were able to utilize our Tricare benefits for services like ultrasounds and lab work while under Cyndel's care. She made the entire process seamless, offering expert guidance and support throughout our journey. Cyndel brings a calm, confident presence into every room and situation. She is more than our midwife; she is a dear friend, confidant, and a sacred birth-keeper. Since the birth, we've found ourselves thinking about staying at Fort Polk, so Cyndel can continue to be a part of our journey for any future births. Her care made such a difference, and we’d love to have her by our side again. She is truly skilled and knowledgeable. Cyndel has been an absolute blessing in our lives, and I cannot recommend her enough to anyone preparing to welcome a child.

There is no other woman I trust to keep the sacred space of birth just that- sacred, while also bringing with her a wealth of knowledge, experience, intuition, care, education, & love. From empowering my husband to educating me on all things related to my pregnancy, Cyndel worked with us through 3 pregnancies (First as a doula, second as an assistant midwife, then finally as our primary midwife). If I thought the right people would hear me, I would literally stand on a rooftop yelling “HIRE CYNDEL AS YOUR MIDWIFE!!!” She embodies all things a true birth keeper should. Where to begin! I’ve know Cyndel for a few years now as a fellow midwife and friend. With my recent third pregnancy, I decided VERY late in the game that I wanted to switch from a planned hospital birth to a planned homebirth. She welcomed me into her care with open arms. When labor came, she responded promptly to my husbands call, and arrived exactly when she said she would. She labored with me in quiet expectation for the next couple hours; no rushing about, no interruptions to my natural labor, just bringing with her pure peace and support. Her birth assistant brought the same. I could not have requested a better team! They moved seamlessly around each other, myself, and my husband. Birth was intense and they truly held me together. Postpartum care was top notch. They turned over my home as if no birth had occurred here- everything back in place and clean. Having checkups in my home in the days after birth helped maintain such a serene feeling as we recovered. I could truly go on and on singing her praises! If you are in SWLA looking for in-home midwifery care, I can’t recommend Cyndel enough! 10/10

I cannot recommend Cyndel highly enough. At the start of my pregnancy, I didn't realize how much the 'who' mattered, but having Cyndel completely changed my perspective. Throughout my care, she never made me feel rushed or pressured; she treated me like a friend and walked me through every result and decision with patience. My birth involved an almost 11lb baby and some serious complications, including sticky shoulders and blood loss after delivering the placenta. Despite the intensity, Cyndel and her assistant worked together seamlessly and remained completely calm. Their confidence prevented any panic from entering the room, leaving my husband and me feeling completely safe. Cyndel provides a peaceful, encouraging environment that I feel so lucky to have experienced.
